Week Two

After working at your job, do you feel differently about how you will spend your money in the future? Why or why not?

Money has never been my "thing." I have always used it because it is absolutely necessary. Yet after getting my first job I discovered that I seriously hate money. I don't mind the work at all. I enjoy feeling productive; but whenever I get a paycheck it always disapparates quickly. I don't throw my money away on junk food or material possessions, My money always goes towards bills and overdue gas money. I hardly ever have the cash to go do fun things with my friends. I usually have to wait to see a movie until it goes to the dollar theaters. Frankly, I am used to being broke. My parents were never the ones to hand me $50.00 when I went to the mall. I suppose this should build character, I feel that it makes me bitter. When I see people my age complaining when their parents don't give them their daily quota I get kinda pissed. Either way, working did not make me feel very different about currency.
